For You

<sub>The birds chirped around him as he sat motionlessly on the grass. Children playing; flowers blooming; butterflies floating.

A hand appeared in front of him. A daisy adorned the fingers.

"It's for you." He said.

Roxas looks up; he didn't know how exactly to react. His fingers slowly reached out to the flower. Axel sat down next to him.

"I'm not a girl, Axel." Roxas said, looking at the little daisy. "I won't be happy getting flower from you."

"But since I already gave it to you, you wouldn't bear to throw it away, would you?" Axel smiled; he knew Roxas all too well.

Roxas bit his lips. He was utterly confused: his best friend just confessed this morning that he was in love with Roxas.

"When did it begin?" He asked Axel.

"When?" Axel was lying on the ground, looking up at the scattered light under the trees. "Maybe... that time when you got drunk like a pool of mud and started going around kissing everyone?"

Roxas reddened.

"Or maybe when you sleep with your legs and arms wide open for me to take a picture?" Axel continued, grinning. "Or when you lost the watch your dad gave you and got so frantic until I found it? Or when you cried when the bird you saved from a tree was going back to the sky again? Or maybe when you said you'd miss me just before we left for summer vacation."

Roxas was blushing. It's getting harder to think of Axel the same way he used to.

"Mmm... no... It's gotta be that time when your friend cheated on me, and you came here to apologize for her, looked into my eyes, and told me that I'll be okay." Axel said, looking at Roxas. That was the first time they met.

Roxas looked away from Axel's gaze.

"Say, Roxas, you aren't the type to take the blame for others." Axel said, "Why'd you do that for her?"

Roxas gulped. The truth was he wanted to know Axel ever since he was in the same lecture class. He just used that chance when it came.

"I just... wanted to know you." He said. Axel sat up, tentatively reaching his hand out to Roxas' soft skin.

"Roxas, I'm going to ask you a question..." He said. "Do you love me?"

A teardrop rolled down Roxas' cheeks. Silently he nodded.</sub>

Yay finally finished this!
Edit: Change color tone a little 'cause Deviant was acting weird on me; also changed Axel's skin color when I realized how light I made him...
